Are you looking for an OHIO alumnus or alumna? We can help! You can locate alumni through: the Alumni Directory, The [Gateway] online community, Chapters and Societies, and our multiple social media sites. 

Alumni Directory

The Alumni Directory is basically an online version of a printed directory, but because it’s online, it gives you the ability to sort information in a number of different ways. The Alumni Directory makes it easy for others to search for your information and get in touch with you. Among other options, you can search for alumni by:

• Graduation year
• City
• Occupation

Once registered, you may list your home and business addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses. To register, you will need your last name and birthday. If your birth date is not on file, you will need your official Ohio University alumni ID number which is available by e-mailing us at alumni@ohio.edu, or giving us a call at 740-593-4300.

The [Gateway]

The [Gateway] is much more than a directory of names, it is an online community which provides social and professional networking. Once you have created a profile with your up-to-date personal and business contact information, special features include:

• Connect directly with friends and teammates via e-mail, join groups of special interest, and browse job opportunities
• Surf message boards and respond to topics of interest or post new ones
• See how many OHIO alumni live in your area
• Have fun personalizing your profile by adding your favorite books, movies, music, sports teams, travel spots, etc.

To register, you will need your last name and alumni ID number. This number is available by e-mailing us at alumni@ohio.edu, or giving us a call at 740 593-4300.

Being involved in a chapter, society, or both is a great way to stay connected with the OHIO alumni family.

Alumni Society groups are graduates and friends who share common interests, experiences, and connections. Society activities include annual meetings, student recruitment events, continuing education opportunities, football tailgates, reunions, networking and career connections for students.
